A discussion around the interaction between FM and business performance and therefore the impact that FM has on business and individual performance.
Participants will be directed towards an understanding of the impact of their FM function, how this can be measured and therefore how it can be increased.
Outcome: A framework for performance improvement.
This session will create a discussion around SLAs, KPIs and benchmarking – what are they and how can they be used to support performance management.
Whilst some use will be being made of specific performance management tools, are they being fully utilised in the participants’ organisations? This session will seek out opportunities to use existing tools more effectively and discuss alternatives.
Outcome: Improved skills at using performance management tools.
This discussion looks at processing data to create information, processing information to create knowledge and using a management system to enable wise decision making.
Participants will be encouraged to assess how they can structure their facilities information to focus on performance improvement and identify improvements in how this can be achieved.
Outcome: A systematic approach to information management.
