Nick established his advisory business in July, 2012, after a long and successful career as a Minister and Senator for Tasmania for 22 years.
Since establishing the business Nick has engaged in many wide ranging analytical projects in the superannuation and pensions space with all stakeholders from government/regulators to commercial participants such as funds and fund managers.
The projects include large “big picture” policy analysis and detailed component analytical projects for operational regimes including key strategic and tactical impacts.
The work has been both in Australia and in some 19 countries including Ireland, UK, Greece, Thailand, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Chile, Colombia and others with diverse organisations and clients – Citi, EY, OECD, World Economic Forum and many others.
Nick’s focus is largely an extension of his main policy focus – superannuation and pensions – and experience as a Senator and Minister for Superannuation and Chair of the Senate Committee. He was recently recognised for his contribution by the PPI (UK) as a Governor and AIST as a Fellow.
He is also an Independent Director of Spotless and Chair of FNZ (APAC) and Chair of Youth, Family and Community Connections – a not-for-profit organisation.
Nick makes many public appearances with over 50 speeches and presentations at a range of events and in the media.
