Chris Hockings is the global strategy leader for IBM’s Identity technology (IBM Verify). He joined IBM through an Access Management acquisition, and spent 15 years delivering Cyber Security products for the global market. In this role, he was recognised as an IBM Master Inventor, a title that reflects a sustained contribution (45 inventions) to IBM Security’s patent portfolio. From 2015-2025, Chris was the IBM Security technology field CTO for Asia Pacific, and led the entire IT Specialist profession for thousands of aspiring employees. Chris has been a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) for over a decade.
