Jacki was appointed to the role of Portfolio Manager for Retirement Strategy at First State Super in July 2018. She is responsible for developing retirement income solutions and for the investment strategy of pension options. During the 13 years she has worked in the finance industry, Jacki has gained extensive experience in retirement income research, modelling member outcomes, asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection. She is passionate about enhancing member outcomes and supporting retirees through the delivery of adequate and sustainable income in retirement. Prior to joining First State Super, Jacki was a Senior Investment Consultant for Mercer for over 6 years, where she was promoted to the Pacific Director of Strategic Research. Jacki was responsible for retirement income research and partnering with institutional clients to undertake investment research and develop strategies to improve fund performance. Jacki began her career at the Australian Office of Financial Management before joining the investment consulting team at Access Capital Advisers where she was involved in the investment strategy and active asset allocation process, and was responsible for foreign currency management and Australian equity manager selection. Jacki has an Honours degree in Finance and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the Australian National University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
