Annie South is a passionate and highly experienced data professional with expertise in data warehousing, architecture, governance, metadata, reference data, data quality and enterprise architecture. She has worked both in Australia and internationally.
Annie has recently joined RMIT University as Director, Data Management Centre of Excellence. Previously Annie was General Manager of Data at ME Bank. Where since starting in late 2015, she had created a specialized team of data professionals from zero to nearly 50 staff today. Under Annie’s guidance the team was one of the most highly engaged in the company, focusing on all aspects of data across data governance, data architecture, data engineering and data insights and automation, working on a full stack of leading edge technologies including Microsoft’s parallel data warehouse.
